Taka and Sarafina

"It's ugly isn't it?"
Taka looked over at his friend Sarafina.
"I think it makes you look brave," she said.
Taka rubbed his eye. His Scar. He was in the gorge when, a water buffalo spotted him and attacked Taka. He was lucky he only got one scar.
"Sarabi said that she'd like me if I went there," Taka said. "And when I came back she said it was an ugly scar!"
"Well, she's dumb. You really are brave. Mufasa wouldn't even go in the gorge! I think you're tougher than Mufasa."
Sarafina smiled at Taka. Taka looked over seeing Sarabi and Mufasa walking together.
"Hey Scar!" Sarabi yelled. "Oops. I mean Taka!"
Mufasa and Sarabi walked away, laughing.
Taka put his head down.
"I'm a freak," he mumbled.
"You're not a freak. You're a prince. You're brave. You're smart."
"To other cubs, I'm just Mufasa's weird little brother."
Sarafina jumped on Taka pinning him.
"Well, you're not just Mufasa's brother to me. You're the brave, smart, prince."
"I just wish," Taka said, "that Mufasa was gone!"
"But you can't do anything about that. It's not like you could kill him."
